Almeria is the third largest city in the Andalusian Province, just behind Malaga, Cadiz. According to the Gloval group’s 1st Andalusian residential market barometer, the prices of housing have increased the most in the past year.
The quarterly publication, which monitors the price movements of the residential capitals of the provinces, shows that Andalusia is showing some divergent behaviors. Some areas have a positive annual variation of house prices, such as Malaga (9.4%), Cadiz (5.8%), Almeria (5.7%), and Seville (1.4%), while others have a negative annual rate, such as Jaen (-3.5%) or Cordoba (0.0%), Granada (0.5%), and Huelva (0.1%).
Cadiz, for its part, has the highest unit sales price of all capitals at 2,277 euros per sq meter. It is followed by Malaga and Seville in 1917, Malaga, 2156, Grenada, 1733, Cordova, 1,356 and Almeria 1,256, Jaen, 1113, and Huelva in 1,101.
The city of Cadiz has 10.02 euros per square meter and Seville 9.63. Then, there’d be Granada at 7.62, Huelva at 7.29, Almeria at 7.18, and Jaen with 5.95.
