A female flight attendant from the airline EVA Air has accused a male air passenger wheelchair for indecent exposure and has threatened to sue the man, who allegedly demanded that she helped him to dry himself in the back during a restroom on a flight from Los Angeles to Taipei on 19. January.
It writes Focus Taiwan.
According to the stewardess asked the man, who is described as ‘overweight’, several female flight attendants for help to get to the toilet two hours in about 12 hours long flight where the stewardess is claiming that there were male kabineansatte on board.
I felt that having to remove a passenger knickers was far beyond my responsibility as a flight attendant, and she says to Focus Taiwan.
She says, moreover, that the three flight attendants eventually chose to help the man in the wheelchair taking off her clothes, but when they would close the window, so he could administer its relieve themselves, required that the door should remain open, as he claimed, that he could not ’breathe’, if it was closed.
When the man was finished on the toilet, he refused to leave it, before he was helped to dry in the back. All flight attendants at first refused to help him, but eventually they had to capitulate in order to get the man out from the toilet.
Here end the story, however, for according to Focus Taiwan claims the stewardess that the man began to moan and say ’deeper’, as she dried him, and therefore she together with his trade union requested his employer to sue the passenger concerned.
in Addition, the union also, to EVA Air to protect their employees against similar incidents by ensuring that disabled passengers will in future have a carer with them on the flights.
EVA Air is not returned in the Focus of Taiwan’s requests, but has instead issued a written statement where they say that it is permissible for kabinemedlemmer to say no to a passenger’s requests.
In contrast to the concerned flight attendant claims the airline, moreover, that there were male kabinemedlemmer on board the plane, and that they helped, as the man was on the toilet, but the airline said at the same time that they are willing to provide assistance to the trade union in connection with the action, if there is a need for it.
