I go to the pool with a bag full of bath toys. I have a towel, simring and puffs. The stuff is called, of course, not so when you are my age. It’s called the pull buoy and paddles. My pull buoy is a plastmojäng, it looks like a giant unpeeled peanut, knips fixed between the thighs and allow the legs to float. To do that I can focus on hand and arm movements. Paddles are plastic trays, large as my palm, which I attach, one on each hand.
I’m trying to get better at swimming, and it goes slowly. I have previously told you about this here in DN and got many encouraging e-mails. Thank you!
so far, was that I had not understood that swimming is a materialsport. Nothing cheers you up like trying to shop themselves to get better. So I went away in an online shop and bought the buoyancy.
I clench the thighs together on my pull buoy and try to swim. Unfortunately, the drops I at least as quickly as before because I can’t use my legs to struggle me to the horizontal position.
the Paddles feels clumsy and I don’t get up any greater speed.
I seek the help of mästersimmare Mats that regularly supported my rampage. He was surprised at my inability to float, and I show off my pull buoy.
I squeezed it like this, ” I say.
He looks first confused, and then bursts he’s up in a friendly smile.
” But you’ve had it up and down?
