Two OL-guldvindere in vægtløft have tested positive for use of banned substances.

It enlightens the international vægtløfterforbund (IWF) according to the news agency NTB.

Oleksij Torokhtij from Ukraine and Ruslan Nurudinov from Uzbekistan is among the five weightlifters have been tested positive after the new urine tests.

It is not informed, what are the banned substances.

As the Torokhtij won gold in London in 2012, was the victory referred to as shocking. Not because of fears about cheating, but because no one weightlifter had previously won the class with a lower number of pounds than his.

Nurudinov has since his win in Rio in 2016 to continue its high level. By november, he won the bronze in WORLD cup shock in the 109-kilogram class.

The other three that have tested positive, are Valentin Hristov from Azerbaijan, Makalaj Novikau of Belarus and Meline Dalusjan from Armenia.
