An unusual robbery committed a few days ago, where the two big boys in one of the most deprived ghettos in Stockholm stole something pastry, has now become one of Sweden’s most talked about stories.
The two young men pulled namely weapons, as the staff at a store in the Kista Galleria tried to stop them.
The unusual story was the straw that got the cup to overflow for the local police Christoffer Boman, who subsequently put a desperate plea out on Polisen in Rinkebys Facebook, where he is sounding the alarm and among other things, in a video clip saying the following:
‘we Understand at all, how sick is the behavior? Or have we become too accustomed to the violence that has happened in recent years?’, ask the acting chief of police in Järva in a recording, that is posted on Facebook.
It writes multiple media including SVT on the unusual cry for help from the police, which has been viewed more than 1 million times.
‘This is an event that is an example of it gone wrong in far too long. I feel that the young men have gone totally wild in their relationships to others, in the macho-culture and in their own fear. And when you link it together with the fact that they have weapons, so they become extremely dangerous’, says police chief Christopher Boman.

If you pull a weapon, because you have been caught stealing a pastry, what would you not do for some years? I am becoming more and more upset, when I think of the future. The Sweden I grew up in no longer exists’.
