Easter Saturday took the journalist Holger Jepsen from Jydskevestkysten on the oyster-safari arranged by the company Black Safari with the family out for Romo in order to gather the oysters.
He gathered as many of the delicious seafood, he decided to share them with his friends.
the Reporter selected among others to share his catch with comedian and revydirektøren Leif Maibom and folketingspolitikeren Benny Engelbrecht (S).
But on Monday after they had consumed the shellfish was both Holger Jepsen, Leif Maibom and their families very sick.

– We ate them naturel, as they say. The day after there was nothing, but on Monday my wife and I a wellness stay. We checked in at noon, went directly to bed and lay there in a day. We were just down to see the restaurant and taste a starter, but it was not for more than that, for we were simply too sick, says Leif Maibom to Jydskevestkysten.
– We always eat raw oysters for the new year, but I have never experienced being sick of them before, he says further.
For Extra Magazine Leif Maibom, that he has gotten much better since he was sick on Monday.
– It is certainly better, but I’m not quite at the top. I have been sick from Monday morning. We checked in at Kragerup gods on Monday, and there I got it bad in the stomach. I was not out of bed. My wife was also sick. We could not eat our lovely dinner, but just had to get water. So the trip was just ruined, he says.

Holger Jepsen experienced something similar, and that is why he has now chosen to send an email to the Black Safari to inform them that there are at least ten who have been sick of the oysters from their safai. According to him, they had been told that the oysters, they could gather with the Black Safari, was of the finest quality.
– There are several going around out there and gathers oysters, and it can be that they are not aware of the risk. It is only fair that people get to know that it can happen, and that there are some that have been sick from raw oysters from the area, says Holger Jepsen to Jydskevestkysten.
Black Safari warns, however, on their website about the risk that may be associated with eating oysters and mussels, that you yourself have collected. On the website it appears among other things, that you may be suffering from upset stomach, if you eat raw oysters that have carried on a virus.
