Dilbeek An elderly woman Friday morning to life in a very tragic traffic accident at the Q8 petrol station along the chaussée de ninove. The victim came under the wheels of a van, who without a driver in the direction of the chaussée de bolde. The woman died at the scene of her injuries.
The accident occurred around 9.45 am for the crossing of the chaussée de ninove, with the Baron Robert de Vironlaan. A 28-year-old woman from Dilbeek was with a white Volkswagen Transporter and the site of the petrol station turn drove up and it was the small Shop’n Go gas started. It is not clear whether the vehicle at that time whether or not the fuel pumps was parked. “The driver forgot to put her handbrake on to attract,” explains Carol Vercarre, spokeswoman at the public prosecutor’s office of Halle-Vilvoorde. “This bolde the vehicle backward.”
