the Analysis is carried out by Eurostat and OnBuy.com and show that alcoholic drinks and cigarettes is 22,7% more expensive in Denmark than the average in the EU. The most expensive countries according to the analysis Iceland, Norway and Ireland. Sweden comes in right before the Denmark. Cheapest countries in the EU are Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary.
the Analysis has also looked at other categories and Denmark is bl.a. the most expensive country in the EU in relation to eating at the restaurant and stay at the hotel in the EU. The price is here, 51% higher than the EU average. Iceland, Norway and Switzerland as non-EU countries are however more expensive than Denmark.
