Think It was party last Sunday party at AZ Delta, where the sisters Nicoline Catteeuw (30) from Wervik and Janaika (24), Believe they both liked. A great coincidence, because baby Evita of Janaïka came a month early. “No one could have expected,” laughs Nicoline, that mama was of Kitaï.
Nicoline gave birth to a boy with the name Kitaï (49 inches and 3,165 kilograms) while Janaika gave birth to a girl Evita (47 inches and 2,770 kilograms). Kitaï is the little brother of Nienke and Evita is the sister of Dylano.
“No one had thought that both babies on the same day the world would come,” laughs a proud mama Nicoline. “Actually, it was the birth of pas, on 9 march, scheduled and my sister on the 22nd of march. Evita came so early, but they shall still excellent. Because we are not long in the maternity hospital stay, did we not together in the room. It is already certain that Kitaï and Evita in the future often will be in play. Similarities between the two babies we don’t see really, but perhaps that can still come.”

Martine Van Craeynest was with the double birth in the family, for the eleventh and twelfth time grandmother. “At first it was a shock when it turned out that my two daughters almost at the same time, were pregnant. But in the end the only advantages. The kids go later, the birthdays can celebrate. The pregnancies were remarkably in sync. Each time when one baby turned in the womb, did the other also. And they decided, therefore, to be on the same day on earth. They will probably have something in common,” laughs the grandmother.
Unique event –
Hoofdvroedvrouw Heidi Loyson, since 1991, active in the kraamdienst, made all that the mother and stepdaughter in the same period liked, and also an aunt and a cousin gave as the life of a baby in the same week. “But two sisters who the same day gave birth in this hospital is a unique event. We are particularly pleased that the to two healthy babies.”
