The so-called contact numbers for the infection with corona virus is further increased in Germany. Where the figure – which was previously called the smittetallet – lay on 1,79 Saturday, is Sunday has risen to 2,88.

Sunday marked increase does not necessarily mean that the infection spreads over the whole of Germany. Here there is generally low infection, writes RKI.

A contact number on 2,88 means that the 100 people who are infected with the virus, on average, rubs off 288 other people.
Contact number must be below one for the long term to contain the infection.
In total, Germany has confirmed button 190.000 cases of infection. 8882 people have died after they were infected with the coronavirus.
