Stockholm, sweden has set up a Agenda 2030-advice to live up to the 17 united nations global objectives for sustainable development. The council’s 17 members come from both politics, industry and civil society.

the Chairman becomes Gustav Fridolin (MP), who in February resigned as minister of education and in may of the thanks for the itself as the Green party, and the voice of the autumn leaves his riksdagsplats.

” It feels like a fun mission. The whole idea of Agenda 2030 is that no one will be able to sit back and say that in our city or our country, we are finished. The idea is that the council shall be independent and independently with the mandate and courage to review and give advice for how Stockholm will work towards the global objectives of sustainable development, ” says Gustav Fridolin.

Stockholm is located far forward in the lot, but it structured the Agenda to 2030-the work must get started. The council provides the opportunity for cooperation between politics, business, academia and social movements. I hope there will be a meeting place where we leave the political conflicts of the outside, and work together.

– There are a number of objectives, where the Stockholm need to work more. It applies, for example, sustainable consumption and our impact globally. It is easy to move environmental problems elsewhere. We need to see the problems with our consumption and try to find solutions on it, as well as the biological diversity.

” No, I’m leaving now heltidspolitiken. I have done my democratic conscription. I will be able to work and support myself outside of politics. But I will always be politically engaged.

” No, in this council, to take in a Sundbybergare. The idea is that engaged citizens from throughout the region will be able to be with.

” No, I have not had time to look for a job. But I look forward to becoming a teacher. I have previously worked at the Sundbyberg folk high school and Kungsholmens training center.

” Yes, I’m going to go down in salary. But I have gone in and out of the policy in the past and have all the time lived with the knowledge that missions are not for the whole life. In the past it was the same salary for a secondary school teacher, who for a member of parliament. I think it would make sense if teachers ‘ salaries go up and politikerlönerna goes down.

– I will probably always be working hard. I have no illusions about the teaching profession. I know that it is a job you don’t put when you go out from the classroom. But when you leave the task to lead a party to get a little more power over their time, I will put on the child and family, ” says Gustav Fridolin.

Gustav Fridolin is elected formally at the green party Stockholmsdistrikts the annual meeting on Saturday.
