A black woman in colourful robes with threats, hateful battle cry, the unlawful use of collected funds and the rules for racial segregation during his demonstrations managed to park themselves on the stations of the most reviled in Denmark just now.
the 53-year-old Bwalya Sørensen and Black Lives Matter Denmark (BLM), which Bwalya is forperson for, had big momentum in the aftermath of he George Floyd’s brutal death 25. may and have shown that they can mobilise huge support for their cause in a short time. For example, more than 15,000 people gathered for the demonstration in Copenhagen on Sunday. All that is about to be dropped on the floor, and during a demonstration in Odense on Wednesday evening called several people, some demonstrators her ‘insane’.
But who is the woman, who in a few days have managed to break a so much popularity to the atoms?
the 53-year-old Bwalya Sørensen was born in Zambia in Africa. At the age of 12 she came to Europe, and when she turned 18 years old, arrived she to Denmark. Here she spent, she says, two years in a detention centre. It she says in the book ‘Civic Activism and Solidarity Movements: Contending with Populism’.
today she lives in Alberta with her husband, who she has children with.
In spite of a long ‘career’ in the field of political activism, she is a relatively blank sheet of paper. Ekstra Bladet has tried to get an interview with Bwalya Sørensen, so that she could help fill in the gaps, but she is not returned on our request.
During the refugee crisis in 2015, she will be referred to as a part of the Venligboerne.
And it is – according to her – Black Lives Matter in the UNITED states, who contacts her in 2016, and asks her to start a Danish chapter’. This can not be confirmed from the headquarters in the UNITED states, and according to their website there is only the ‘chapters’ internally in the UNITED states.
Bwalya Sørensen believes that the BLM stands for ‘community’.
– If we do things together, we are stronger, she says in the book ‘Civic Activism and Solidarity Movements: Contending with Populism’.
According to the newspaper Information has Bwalya Sørensen said that she uses Black Lives Matter, because it is a trademark, people know and respond to’.
– But the ones I help the most, people in prison, and they are arabs. It could just as well be called Brown Lives Matter, citing Information her to say.
Bwalyas diametric political opposite, the Rasmus Paludan, received in april 2019 (confirmed in July 2019, ed.) a judgment and 14 days imprisonment for breach of racismeparagraffen, because he had harassed Bwalya Sørensen and uploaded videos to YouTube, where he just didn’t work for her and other africans to.
Mix the second said Paludan:
‘When, as Bwalya Sørensen and most negate in south Africa are not gifted enough to be able to see how things actually relate, so it’s much easier to see only in black and white and give the blame to the whites. Of course, because we know that the IQ70-people, that is people from low-IQ populations, failing to control a nation, because they simply don’t skill it. Their cognitive level of functioning is too low for, that they can control a nation.’
Before the judgment had Bwalya Sørensen for several years felt harassed by the City and, as repeatedly demonstrated in front of her home. Therefore she has been given a robbery alarm and would like to have a restraining order against the City. Something, however, was rejected.
But as her dundertaler during the many recent demonstrations also have shown, Bwalya Sørensen does not hesitate even to share a verbal slap in the face to people who she disagrees with.
Among other things, she has called New Borgerliges leader, Pernille Vermund, for ‘your satanic, inflamed snake! Your gross nazilort!’ on social media. Sørensen defended it with, that the advertisement was private, and it was never meant to Vermund should see it.

The critical glasses on the Black Lives Matter Denmark was initially plastered, as Bwalya Sørensen during the demonstration in Copenhagen last week hearer to the attendees of the demonstrators, that she would put Pernille Vermund, Inger Støjberg and foreigners, integration, Mattias Tesfaye behind the lock and turn the (‘Lock him up’).
But it would just prove to be the first bump in the road for Bwalya.
a Few days after she came in trouble even, because she had a little too creative place with a fundraiser to support the BLM’s work. Bwalya had not notified the collection for Indsamlingsnævnet – and thus is illegal, which Bwalya according to her, were well aware.
– This is how civil disobedience looks like, said Bwalya in an interview with Radio4.
She may not, however, answer the question of how the money collected should be channelled to the central organization in the UNITED states.
And then came the case of race-separation during her demonstrations. Where the white were to pull back, so blacks could be at the front of the assembly.
‘Some buzzword is not for you. Not everything is for white people – not even those who turned up in solidarity. To be choked and shot are not things that happen to white people just as much as they happen for black people,’ was standing there.
Subsequently Bwalya Sørensen said to the DR’s P1, that she had nothing with the guidelines, to make. It was some outsiders who had posted it on Instagram in the BLM’s name.
nevertheless, she supported by a demonstration in Odense on Wednesday night, that white and black should not stand together:
– I have asked, that black people could get up in front of the stage. There are some things I address, which is all about the black. Therefore, I will have them up here.
– I’m married to a white man, and I have had another white boyfriend. I love my white friends and my white family, but they do not know how it is to be black. It’s like having born a child. You can only talk about the births, even if you have born, roars Bwalya as the explanation of the black-white breakdown.
In Aalborg got mrs Sørensen cancelled a demonstration that was planned by Amnesty International, there germe would cooperate with Blacks Lives Matter Denmark. Bwalya Sørensen accused Amnesty International in order to steal the agenda and said that Black Lives Matter Denmark never be able to arrange a demonstration together with them, because ‘Amnesty only white employee’, while she accused them of lying and of racism.
