Two neighbors from Huetor Vega, and Gojar are part of the coalition Por Andalucia. The IU deputy in Andalusian parliament, the Hueteno Chuse Fernandez, as well as Maria Jose Sanchez (senior laboratory technician at the Virgende las Nieves hospital), have expressed their excitement about this candidacy. They said that it was “one of the main tools to transfer demands and needs of municipalities in the Andalusian Parlament>>”. Candidates have expressed pride in being part of “an exciting coalition” which, they explained, will “make visible all corners of this province.”

Chus Fernandez is the candidate number two in the coalition. He is also deputy of United We Can For Andalusia at the Andalusian Parlament. He stated that he was “very excited” about the chance to “revalidate and be able to represent the grenadines.” <>.

Maria Jose Sanchez has defended the feminist policies and protection of social services that are part of the coalition government program. She has thus highlighted the responsibility she has as a candidate since “the situation that we are in can threaten our rights,” she said. Por Andalucia added that “we place the defense of people’s rights, respect, and care at our center.”

She also reminded us that responsibility is shared, as all Grenadians have to vote to protect our public health and place the dignity of everyone at the centre of our lives.” She also highlighted the need to protect “the progress made in strengthening women’s spaces.” We must therefore continue to work to consolidate equality policies and strengthen the violet spaces.
