‘I am 31 years old, and I am very afraid of the police, because I have seen what they can do, and what they are willing to do to a person. Guilty or not’.
On his childhood experiences, he writes:
‘I grew up with police brutality, cops in kampudstyr, who performed the searches, wrongful arrests and handing out beatings. Tear gas reminds me of kindergarten. I was 10 years old when I was frisked for the first time, and my backpack was emptied on the ground’.
Luke in a previous interview with u.s. Vice Magazine revealed how heavily it has also sometimes gone for themselves.
In the interview, he told that when the officers stormed the city ’to fucke with the neighborhood’, had he and his friends have no problems with throwing molotov cocktails – that is, homemade bombs – against politibilerne to scare them away.
