the Extra Leaf in the course of the last few days been reporting on the consequences of that Movia has removed the printed information from the bus stops on the island of Zealand – for the inconvenience to both the country’s older citizens and tourists.

Saturday morning, took the Extra Leaf arbejdshandskerne on to provide coach passengers the service, Movia has saved away.

the Movia decision has aroused great indignation in byrådssalene around on Zealand, where kommunalpolitikerne in these days investigate, how they will continue to be able to offer the local citizens a proper service, now, when the Movia no longer will do it.

But it is not only the politicians who now takes action. As a light in the darkness came the anonymous, the everyday hero, ‘mrs Larsen’s, his neighborhood of Vesterbro to the rescue, when she printed the roadmap for bus 6A out and hung it up on the stop at Enghavevej.

the Initiative, which was based in equal parts of compassion and civil disobedience, was so great an inspiration to the editors of Ekstra Bladet, that we decided to give her a helping hand with the laudable undertaking.

Armed with busplaner, plastic pockets and masking tape went the magazine issued on the hunt for the bewildered bus passengers, and naked, informationsløse bustavler around in Copenhagen. And in mrs Larsen’s spirit was there, of course, added a small greeting and a heart – for the good mood-guilt.

En Ekstra issued came past the stop Enghavevej on Vesterbrogade, where ‘mrs Larsens’ original message hangs, stood an elderly couple and admired the anonymous citizen’s initiative.

On the trip that went from Flintholm to Christianshavn, com I, the undersigned, in contact with a number of users of the collective traffic, as agreed with the Extra Leaf in, that there still exists a need for the good old-fashioned busplaner.

One of them that took well against the initiative was the 70-year-old Vivika Åkerblom, who stood and waited on the bus at Christianshavn station. Even though she cannot always even use the now-abolished the printed information at bus stops, she is dissatisfied with the Movia decision.

– I’ve wondered where busplanerne is gone, even if I did not use them so often. I do not think it is in order that they have been removed. Many older people have not a smartphone, so what should they do if there is a busplan, they can see? she says and adds:

– I am going to think of my brother-in-law, who must always have the help of his children with the things on the computer, or if something needs to be printed out. I do not think it is reasonable to deprive people of autonomy, just because they are not on all the new technology.
