Although it is difficult to see the video of the attack, police claim that it helped them track down the suspects.

One man stated, “This was an awful attack.”

Two suspects have been identified by Jenkintown police as Charles Woodson, 37, and September Wingfield (25). Both suspects are from Philadelphia’s Holmesburg area.

Cellphone video shows them dragging a woman from her car on Old York Road, before repeatedly punching and stomping her.

Albert Divalentino Chief of Jenkintown Police stated, “I have never seen an attack in all my years here.” It was quite brutal to put it mildly.

Chief of police in Jenkintown says that hundreds of tips were received after the video was released. These tips were used to identify the attackers.

Divalentino stated, “It was good video and good detective work.”

A cellphone video showed the pickup truck being left the scene without a plate. However, police were able to identify Woodson and immediately connected him with the vehicle.

According to court documents, Woodson was found to be the registered owner of a Ford F150 in 2011. He is also the registered owner a Dodge Challenger 2011 with a Pennsylvania registration for a word that looks similar to the phrase “Bad News.”

According to police, he posted a similar name to Instagram.

Divalentino stated, “We were able dot I’s to cross T’s to make sure that we were exact.”

People who live or work in the region are pleased to learn that the suspects were found by police within days. CBS3 heard from neighbors that the incident was disturbing and distressing.

A man stated, “It’s great that they caught them so quickly,”

Another man stated, “With all the cameras available today, anyone should know that you’re likely to get caught.”

They are now facing simple assault, aggravated assault, and other charges.
