Ice cream lovers the world over got to seriously debate recently.
Here came the american isfirma Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream out, they would change the name of the ice cream Eskimo Pie, which the americans since 1920 have been able to enjoy since eskimo is a derogatory term for the inuit and the other indigenous people from the arctic regions.
The upcoming change of name was received mixed on social media, where many thought it was about time, while others felt that the change bore the stamp of excessive political correctness.

In this connection, asked the Extra Magazine you readers, if ye think good, to Unilever, which is behind the Danish ice cream brand Frisko, should change the name of the Big Eskimo at home.

Unilever has not wanted to pose for a phone interview with Extra Magazine, but Unilever’s Danish press contact, Sandhya Forselius, instead, have answered the inquiry pr. mail.
