After the summer holidays, children and young people return to a more normal everyday life in nurseries, kindergartens, nursery schools, schools and educational institutions.
At the time there must no longer be at least a meter distance between pupils in the same group. It should only, if students are staying in the same place as the other classes.
It informs the Ministry of Children and education in a press release.
Together with the Danish Health and medicines authority is the ministry ready with the new guidelines, which will enter into force from the 1. august 2020.
’the Starting point should be according to the guidelines, still be that children, young people and adults has a limited number of contacts and, as far as possible keep a minimum of one metre distance to others. But locally, one can depart from the general recommendation of one metre distance within the class’, says in the press release.
Schools and institutions must, however, continue to have sharpened the focus on additional hygiene, like to staff and pupils should be sent home if they have symptoms of coronasmitte or have been in contact with the infected.
According to the minister for children and education), Pernille Rosenkrantz-Theil (S) have the greatest challenge during the coronaepidemien been the requirement of a meters distance.
– When I have spoken with the sector, there is no doubt that the recommendation about a meters distance has been the biggest barrier. I am therefore very pleased that the health authorities estimate that it now is proper for this group to waive the requirement after the summer, she said.
It will still be possible to use nødundervisningsbestemmelserne in exceptional cases.
It may for instance be necessary for schools and institutions to take in use if you experience smittetilfælde and have to send a larger number of children, pupils or employees of the home.
