Jose Luis Delgado, the territorial delegate for Regeneration, Justice and Local Administration, in Almeria, told Partaloa about the 6,411 euro subsidy that Juan Marin granted the City Council to purchase a motor to power the well that supplies water to neighbors and ensures the supply. Maria Joaquina Lopez was the mayor of Partaloa when Delgado explained that the ministry’s subsidy line aims to guarantee public services that are the responsibility for the town councils.

Partaloa requested the assistance to purchase a motor for one the two municipal water wells that supply neighbors. He explained that the machinery purchased with the subsidy improves the main well’s capacity and guarantees its supply. This will help to end the intermittent problems in the network. The mayor presented the equipment to the delegate during her visit to the municipality and thanked Ministry for their financial support.

“The commitment of this Government and particularly of the vice president, Juan Marin with municipalism was underlined by the territorial head of Local Administration. We want our provincial mayors to know that the Junta de Andalucia is here to listen and help solve their problems.

Delgado stated that municipalities are the closest administration to citizens and are the first to address their problems. However, their resources are limited due to the financial problems local entities face. It is crucial to have institutional collaboration from the Junta de Andalucia>>.
