After the plenary session unanimously approved it, and all administrative procedures culminated, Puebla de Don Fadrique’s City Council has signed the exchange of land. This will allow for the expansion of the municipal cemetery, solving the current shortage of space. This is a problem that affects many municipalities in the counties of Huescar and Baza, as well as the town of Caniles.
This agreement was signed by the city council along with the property of land. The exchange will give the town hall a total of 5,000 meters. It will also allow for the expansion of the cemetery’s boundaries. There will also be space to build a heliport that can be used by the Baza Hospital health emergency helicopter. This facility will provide an exclusive area that can be used in case of emergency and quick transfer to a hospital.
Mariano Garcia Castillo is the mayor of Puebla and welcomes the efforts to reach a double goal, which is to expand the cemetery as well as build a helicopter port.
