The City Council of Roquetas de Mar started the selection of temporary labor staff for the development of the training and employment program. This is the new name of the former workshop schools and is called ‘Roquetas de Mar Gardening and Nurseries.
In the next few weeks, the municipality plans to open the workshop. It aims to train 15 people aged under 30 who are looking for employment and are registered with the SAE. For the development of the training plan, the City Council will be provided with a subsidy by the Junta de Andalucia. It is estimated that it will cover 98.89%.
The call for teacher employment states that the selection process will take place by way of an urgent generic offer to SAE. It will also be subject to the deadline, which was set by the Junta de Andalucia on 13 June.
A project manager, who has a university degree and at least one year of experience in these functions, will be hired. He will work full-time for thirteen months. An additional job placement support technician, with at least six months of experience and a university degree, will also be available. He will be employed full-time.
Monitors
Two nursery monitors are also available. They have either a degree in Agricultural Engineering, Biology or Environmental Sciences, or a higher degree of Management and Organization of Agricultural Companies. Agrarian professionals and the professional field of gardening. The contract for one of these positions will last 6 months, and the other 5 months. A monitor with university degrees will also be available, and will be employed full-time for one month.
The SAE will pre-select applicants based on the requirements. They will then have to undergo a personal interview which will decide if they will be chosen.
You will recall that the municipality has hosted many training events in this area in recent times. In fact, workshops on gardening have been held and POEFE programs have been completed.
