According to Posey County Sheriff Tom Latham, Westbound I-64 was shut down near the Indiana-Illinois frontier.
We received a report from the Indiana State Police Sergeant just before 8:20 AM. Todd Ringle informed us that I-64 westbound lanes in Indiana are now open.
Traffic will however be diverted from I-64 to Illinois Highway 1.
