Smadremand and Zirkus-director Søren Østergaard acknowledges flatly:
– I’m probably a form of adrenaline junkie. I like the rush. It keeps me up and running. Last year I had a high fever up to the premiere. But because of the adrenaline rush, I could implement the idea, without the audience noticed anything. After the performance applauded, however, I complete together.
The 61-year-old actor, comedian and director in Zirkus Nemo Søren Østergaard sits quietly and leaned back in his cosy beboelsesvogn at the camp site in Horsens.

18. april smoking the canvas to the page. Yet another season with supple artists, comedy and madness will with his usual precision blow around in manegen.
In the year Zirkus Nemo celebrate the 20 year anniversary. It should, according to Østergaard is marked with a hefty blast of a performance.
– The ‘Red Sausage’ comes, explains Østergaard excited.
It is not entirely clear what the sausage should be low in performance. Østergaard itself also seems to wonder a bit.
– There are also some Russian artists, which can stand head to head without any kind of support-ring. They are world-class.

Søren Østergaard tails suddenly two pieces of paper with some klatvise notes up from the desktop.

Søren Østergaard has spent the winter on the to write a blue book on Smadremanden and all his friends.
– All of my characters and myself are portrayed in the book. They are all together born in 1957, and their parents have all died in tragic accidents. It will be a wonderful mixture of fiction and reality. People must find out for yourself what is what, says Søren Østergaard.
the Book has not yet been given a title. It’s published on the People’s Press and published in time for christmas this year.
– I think it will be great fun. The people who have heard a little of the book, laughing in each case. For myself, it has been a lovely process to write the book, says Søren Østergaard.
the Acrobats will arrive first to the led 12. april. The only thing, as Østergaard practicing right now along with the orchestra, is the transitions between the numbers.
Yet he didn’t know what he himself must perform.
– Smadremanden and the other characters are of course. But I know first what I must say, when I face the audience. I have not written a single word down. I would not be able to say anything, if I had made a screenplay. Your adrenaline is running – it is great.
– It is, therefore, not the same idea at the beginning of the season like in the end. It all moves. But where – that mind I didn’t know. A year reached Målermanden up in 24 minutes. As was the entire staff about to leave me, laughing Østergaard.
First, the day before the premiere there is a closed rehearsal, where Søren Østergaard’s wife, the actor Lisbet Lundquist, attends the battle.
– then we always fall out with each other. So she will have addressed the one and then the other. I will definitely not. It is, as it should be. But I dishes the anyway, and it gets the better, sugar Østergaard.

– 20-year anniversary. How are you with it?
– Well, I have no idea where the time has gone. I’m shaken in my guts. But it has been twenty great years of growth.
Søren Østergaard settle on the stomach, as also is ‘grown’ part.
– Last year, I lost me six pounds a week by eating 12 bars a day with one or another in, which tasted terrible. And then I have to drink a lot of water. I was so glad about the good result that I celebrated it with a good dinner with wine. I have so done ever since. I also tend to lose me during our annual stay in Thailand. But in the years I have taken on. I do it again, but just the first few days in the Zirkus will I be allowed to eat through.
don’t you Know that men in your age are calibrated to be thick?
– No, but there is something to it. Metabolism disappear.

– Zirkus Nemo also got a profit on a small million dollars last year?
Yes, but then we made Hjulemarked in Aarhus. It cost us a whole lot of money. But I would rather do anything than stack money together.
Under a box on the desktop will find the Søren Østergaard two 500 Euro notes and two 200 Euro notes.
– My assistant would put them into my account in the bank. But the bank would not take the big notes. Think of it, my own bank will not give me permission to put my own money into my own account. I cannot understand anything of it here.
– What bank do you have?
– Danish Bank.
Østergaard breaks out in laughter.
