Under the slogan “Have fun”, the Ubeda dependent districts will be able to enjoy a summer program. These leisure activities are designed to meet the needs of residents in the annexes. They will be available to everyone.
Magdalena Urrutia (City Councilor for Citizen Participation and Districts) stated that the program was designed to provide a fun alternative to taking advantage of leisure time, to help reconcile work and family life, to develop skills or to develop artistic creativity. It also promotes coexistence and respect for the environment.
It will be entirely free and there will be two sessions per district. San Miguel will have one session due to the large number of residents. It was established in Veracruz on July 1st and 29th, in Solana de Torralba and Santa Eulalia respectively on July 15th and August 12th, and El Donadio and San Miguel on July 22nd and August 19.
The councilor encouraged residents to take part in the program and enjoy a time of relaxation and healthy leisure. Carmen Maria Ortega (monitor of the Department of Citizen Participation) explained that sessions will be held in each annex from half past ten to half past one in afternoon. They will also contemplate activities like karaoke and gymkhanas as well as traditional games such music therapy, crafts, music therapy, or karaoke.
