Hello.
I took a photograph last weekend with a passport photo app for my iPhone. I am out and travel and have my passport renewed.
– The 3. april went I looked on the internet to order a new passport.
– I could choose between taking a picture with a citizen service, upload a picture or to let the citizen take a picture.
I chose of course to upload a picture, (which I have reported).
– After 1 second had computer analyzed and gave the error message: There was missing the air around the image so it could be adjusted.
so begins Per a mail to the nation! on the way, the city of Copenhagen to serve the citizens, who would like to have a passport. the
Per is not the first reading, there seems to kommunerns passport-operation reminds a little of a money-making, perhaps you remember the Ole who wrote this post about Jammerbugt Municipality: municipal Services would not have to use my passport photo: Forced to pay 145 kr or Anni, who gave up after four attempts: Citizen service sent retirement home 4 times: Photo won’t do, while the Pers letter – as the Copenhagen Municipality has been given the opportunity to comment – is a bit special. It continues namely as follows:
– I then have to click on to get the taken picture in the citizen service to get on to the schedule.
– The 4. april I had so the time at 10.25 with the citizens advice bureau.
I showed the picture on my cell phone and the employee said it was completely fine, and that he – if I went home and printed it out – well be able to use it.
– however, I could not upload it to the him down on the citizens advice bureau. And when I want to have my passport, and do not have a functioning image printer I let them take the passport photo itself.
– the Picture cost me 95kr., write Per, and the nation! it has subsequently asked the Copenhagen Municipality answer the question of why a photo can be OK, if it gets printed – but not good enough to upload. And it will Line Friedrichsen, Borgerservicechef in Copenhagen’s Citizen service, like:
– Our onlineløsning cuts even photo to digital and the need for more air around the photo than the pictures we physical scanner in our borgerserviceindgang.
– It is the reason why a photo may be rejected online but accepted by the employee.
– It is of course unsatisfactory, as a citizen does not get the same answer, regardless of whether it is a digital or physical photo.
– Therefore, this is also a challenge we are working to resolve, so citizens should not experience differences depending on which option they choose for their passport photograph, write the Line Friedrichsen, Borgerservicechef in Copenhagen’s Citizen service, but what do you say?
