The contract has been awarded by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda to carry out the Roundabout Construction Project, which is located on the N-340A highway, municipality of Huercal-Overa, province of Almeria. The final award amount was 503,875 Euros.
This project aims to construct a roundabout at an intersection of the N-340A and Urcal – El Saltador roads in order improve safety, accessibility, and functionality of the intersection. This is part of the State Highway Network’s conservation and maintenance program, in which Mitma has invested more 28 million euros in Almeria province since June 2018. It generates significant support to improve the quality and service of existing state road infrastructure.
New access routes and detours will be provided to surrounding roads. There will also be central reservations at intersections with traffic distribution roundabouts.
