many businesses polled by the Fed “are hoping for a resumption of activity as companies will resume,” but “the outlook remains very uncertain and most of the contacts were pessimistic about the potential pace of recovery,” according to the Fed in this document.
The beige Book, published every six weeks by the Fed, said the economic situation of all business sectors by region. To achieve this, the companies have been interviewed before may 18.
