The tax reductions applied by the Government in electricity to alleviate the price of electricity accounted for 2,233 million euros less collection in the first four months of 2022 and accumulate 3,838 million euros less since its launch in mid-2021.
This is reflected in the monthly collection report for April published by the Tax Agency, which details that the total regulatory and management changes at the tax level introduced in 2022 had an impact of 1,394 million
