Celebrities This week was actor Chris Pratt discredited because he openly came out for his membership of the Evangelical Hillsong Church. The church is notoriously anti-LGBT, and many find it not possible that Chris just like many other celebs – such a mindset promotes.
Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Kourtney Kardashian, Hailey, and Justin Bieber, Austin Butler, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Hailee Steinfeld. These are just a few famous names that are part of the Hillsong Church.
Baptized in bath tub
For Justin Bieber, the church was internationally not so well known, but thanks to the presence of celebs, there is today almost constant media attention on the church focused. The young pop star dropped by priest Carl Lentz, with whom he a good friend, baptized in the bathtub of basketball player Tyson Chandler.
Anti-LGBT
This weekend and even called out actress Ellen Page, actor Chris Pratt on the mat because he is a member of the church proclaimed during a talk show. He had, among other things, a period of fasting, to become one with his spiritual side. Also his fiance, Katherine Schwarzenegger, is very religious.
