One of the closest Confidants of Facebook CEO Zuckerberg, is leaving the Online network – a few days after the announcement of a profound change in Strategy. And yet another Top Manager.
The U.S. Internet company Facebook and its subsidiary WhatsApp lose two high-ranking executives. Facebook’s chief product Manager, Chris Cox, announced his resignation. After 13 years, he is leaving the company “with great sadness,” wrote Cox on his Facebook page.

Concrete reasons he mentioned. He referred but to the change in strategy from Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, the wool, the Online network away from the “digital marketplace” to more private communication. Cox had worked in the 13 years at Facebook including the Newsfeed, the majority of users get their information in the network.
“I’m going to miss Chris”
The Facebook CEO tried to not let it after a falling out look. “For several years, Chris has spoken with me about his desire to do something different,” Zuckerberg wrote in a blog entry. “But after the year 2016” – an allusion to the criticism of Facebook’s role in the US presidential election have both decided that to improve too much in the Online network. In the meantime, however, some progress has been made. “I’m going to miss Chris very much.” The two men also apply to private as friends.
