Some Autonomous Communities are beginning to digest the Covid debt. Castilla-La Mancha, Asturias, Galicia, La Rioja and Navarra already have less debt than in 2019.
Public debt continues its downward path, although at a much slower rate than might be anticipated due to the strong increase in tax revenue and nominal GDP caused by inflation, which ran amok in the first quarter of the year.
