American actor Kevin Spacey was found not guilty on Wednesday of the sexual assault he was accused of by four men in a London court. The 64-year-old Oscar-winning actor was acquitted of nine charges against him, including sexual assault, incitement to engage in sexual activity without consent and incitement to engage in penetrative sexual activity. When the jury read the verdict, Kevin Spacey did not hide his emotion and wiped away a few tears while making gestures of thanks towards the jurors.
During the four-week trial at Southwark Crown Court, jurors considered testimony from three men who said they were assaulted between 2004 and 2013 in Britain, when the comedian worked at the Old Vic theater in London. A fourth explained that Kevin Spacey gave him oral sex while he was unconscious in the London apartment of the Hollywood star.
