CGT activists took over the Musée d’Orsay around 10 a.m. Friday to protest against the pension reform. Several dozen, 80 according to the union, gathered in the museum. About thirty stand in front of Auguste Rodin’s The Gates of Hell with a banner “Museums mobilized against pension reform”.

Others climbed the towers overlooking the great hall and unfurled two banners “64 years is no”. The group chants the slogan “Retirement at 60, we fought to win it, we will fight to keep it”.

Since March, the CGT Culture has been storming museums to protest against the pension reform. The Louvre had been blocked on March 27 and the Pantheon in early April.
