The so-called dagpengeur be put on pause for another two months. It happens after an agreement that a majority in the Danish Parliament entered into the night to Monday.
Members of an unemployment insurance fund has the right to two years on the unemployment benefit if they meet a number of requirements. It is the two year, often called the dagpengeuret.
Under the coronakrisen the countdown has been paused. Until the night deal was the clock put a halt to the end of June.
With the agreement is the period in which the dagpengemodtagerens time as the vacancy does not count with, extended to the end of august.
Previously, several unions tried to persuade the government to extend the period of the year.
Also, people on sickness benefits get extended their right with the night’s agreement. Here is an extension of three months, so it runs to september.
