The roads of France will still be full this weekend. From Friday to Sunday, departures and returns from holidays will come to load the roads of the whole of France, according to Bison smart.

In the direction of departures, Friday August 11 is classified orange at the national level – traffic will be difficult to leave the major cities, “especially on the A10” and the A7. Traffic will even be “very difficult” on the Mediterranean arc, especially on the A8 and A9. The government department advises crossing major cities before noon.

Unfortunately, the following day, the circulation will not improve. Saturday August 12, it “will be very difficult on all the major connecting axes of the country”. Departures as well as returns are classified in red: “the A7, A9, A10, A11, A61, A71 and A75 motorways will be particularly impacted” according to Bison futé, who also advises travelers to “leave the Island of -France before 7 a.m.

French roads will be able to breathe a little more this Sunday, August 13, traffic difficulties are easing at the national level. “Traffic difficulties are expected more particularly in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region on the A6, A7 motorways, and on the Mediterranean Arc on the A8, A9 and A61 motorways” informs Bison smart. The organization still advocates crossing Île-de-France before 9 a.m., and avoiding the highways mentioned from noon.

Monday and Tuesday are listed in green. But on Wednesday August 16, “in the direction of returns, traffic will be difficult in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and on the Mediterranean arc, in particular on the A7 and the A8”. The region should experience difficulties on its main axes all afternoon.
