The american actor Martin West , star of the popular tv series General Hospital, and protagonist of many television series, is dead at his home in Norwalk, Connecticut, at the age of 82 years. The announcement of the disappearance was given by the family.
Veteran General Hospital, West dressed in the role of dr. Phil Brewer in the soap of Abc network from 1966 to 1975 and was the fourth and final actor to play the role that originated with the debut of the series in 1963.
Among the many tv series of the Sixties in which it appeared, include the Dakotas, The virginian, Perry Mason, Hank, Bonanza, and Ironside. After the long-acting in General Hospital, West in the Eighties, he starred in Dallas, Hill Street blues, Matlock and Lawyers in Los Angeles.
