This weekend marks the last weekend before the official start of summer vacation. For this weekend of departure, Bison futé foresees a traffic composed “mainly of French, not subject to school obligations”, who have decided to take “their holidays from the beginning of the summer to take advantage of less attendance”.

On Friday, very difficult traffic is to be expected in the Île-de-France region, Bison futé informs that “traffic will be dense towards the toll gates of the A10 and A7 motorways”, where the “first slowdowns could be recorded there as soon as late morning and particularly towards the afternoon.

In general, access to and exit from major cities will be difficult, it is advised by the service to “leave or cross these regions before noon”. “The A6 and A50 motorways will also be affected”, and traffic on the A7 motorway between Lyon and Orange will be even more difficult. In the middle of the afternoon, the usual journeys of local residents and weekend departures, numerous during this period, “could make traffic very difficult until late in the evening”.

After a difficult Friday, the situation will be easier on Saturday, according to Bison futé. The only advice is to “leave or cross the Île-de-France region before 8 a.m.”, or traffic will be difficult all day, but better than the day before. Scattered rain is also expected across most of the territory, but will not predictably have an impact on traffic.

Sunday is a return to calm. Bison smart does not foresee any particular disruption on French roads, traffic will be usual, and the sky will be blue.
