Technical Glitch Causes Payment Issues for Anderlecht Fans
Anderlecht is facing a high demand for season ticket renewals for the upcoming season. However, a technical problem has caused disruptions in the early renewal process. The new season is set to begin on July 26th, and eager fans have been looking to secure their tickets for a while now. Like in other clubs, there is a waiting list at Anderlecht.
In recent days, there have been issues with the sale of these season tickets. According to Het Laatste Nieuws, at least 500 fans who renewed their subscriptions ended up paying too much. The amount paid was reportedly debited twice due to a technical error on an external ticketing platform, as explained by the club to the Dutch-language newspaper.
However, Anderlecht fans need not worry as the club is taking steps to rectify the situation. “This led to the debiting of the account of all those whose subscription was due to expire on June 1st, whether for those who had already renewed their subscription or for fans who had not done so yet. We received about 500 emails regarding this,” the Sporting club stated.
Anderlecht is working diligently to quickly refund the affected fans. “The club immediately issued the refund order, and within two to three business days, the money should be back in everyone’s account.”
This technical glitch may have caused some anxiety among the supporters, but Anderlecht is committed to resolving the issue promptly and ensuring that fans can enjoy the upcoming season without any further complications.
