The LDC group (brands Loué, Le Gaulois, Maître Coq, Marie) announced on Thursday that it had exceeded 6 billion euros in turnover during its staggered 2023-2024 financial year, a performance obtained thanks to the increase in its sales price and its acquisitions. From March 2023 to February 2024, turnover amounted to 6.2 billion euros, an increase of 6%. Inflation did not put off consumers, volumes remaining stable (0.3%), according to a press release.

This progress is also fueled by the expansion of the group, notably with the acquisition of Ovoteam (eggs intended for restaurateurs and manufacturers). The group, which will present all of its annual results on May 29, is present in the poultry meat departments, its main activity (Loué, Le Gaulois, Maître Coq), eggs (Matines) and catering (Marie). It also has sites outside France, particularly in Poland and Hungary. To reconnect with volumes, a guarantee of more profitable factories, LDC “relaunched its promotional efforts” and initiated “price reductions in the poultry division” during the financial year.
