Difficult traffic in Île-de-France. This Tuesday morning, several hundred kilometers of traffic jams were noted on the region’s roads. The difficulties began at 6 a.m., and quickly multiplied. After a peak of more than 500 kilometers around 9 a.m., 202 kilometers of slowdowns were still visible around 1:30 p.m., according to the Sytadin website. A more than exceptional level, and well beyond the average at the same time, usually below 150 kilometers.
In detail, the Paris road traffic map displays a dominance of red. The ring road is very busy, as are many main axes, such as the A86, the A13 or the N12. Numerous incidents slow down traffic all around the capital. On the N12, in the Paris-province direction, “a heavy goods vehicle is involved on two lanes” causing the closure of the right lane and the emergency lane. On the A13, in the province-Paris direction, a light vehicle has been broken down since 1 p.m. It is located between Vaucresson and Saint-Cloud.
Likewise, traffic is “saturated” on the A86, “between the A6b and the N12”. Traffic is also difficult “on the N12 between the A12 and the A86”, again according to Sytadin. It is therefore better to be patient, as the rain pushes more Ile-de-France residents to travel by car this Tuesday.
