The American chip manufacturer Broadcom has closed the purchase of the VMware cloud services group, participated by Michael Dell, for 61,000 million dollars (57,000 million euros).
The operation, on which the market has been speculating this week, will be articulated in cash and shares. In addition, Broadcom will assume 8,000 million dollars (7,500 million euros) of debt from VMware, in one of the largest acquisitions of the year.
