A familiar voice in Berlin: Daniela Döring-Steinitz, better known as Dörti Dani. Ironically, in rbb88,8, the former Kiss FM-women the new weekly program “It’s my life – The 90s Show moderated”. The end of the 90s Döring was Steinitz in the untwisted morning show of private channel with the telling title “Pop up” and made as a Dörti Dani a name.

About 20 years, Döring-Steinitz in the radio business. In 2003, she not only left Kiss FM, but also Berlin. Like other radio presenters also changed several times, the transmitter and the state, went to 89,0 RTL, according to hall, followed by a good deal, according to Hesse and remained. For the “90s Show” has borrowed the RBB, the 46-Year-old from the station Planet Radio.

“made the Recording of the Show for me totally fun,” she says. “In the preparation for the shipment of the stories came to me, I have experienced in the’ 90s, with artists and on the Radio, I had completely forgotten.” The Record was the usual, news, weather and traffic are but live. As of 88.8 sent the first “90s Show” in early March, stand Döring-Steinitz again at Planet Radio behind the MIC, listening to your new show in the breaks. In may, Ex-Viva is the first presenter Mola Adebisi the Show, then DJ Mousse T. comes In June, Jasmin Wagner.

A small Comeback

For radio, Mrs Döring-Steinitz, it is a first for public Radio, and a small Comeback: “When I left in 2005, from the hall, I wanted to actually, to Berlin,” she says. “But I had FM the Kiss-mark on the forehead. Dörti Dani is not Energy or Fritz – because I barely had any opportunities.“ Today, the “time-barred”: “The people who were 20 years old, are now 40, that fits again.”

On Facebook, the first reactions to the announcement of the “90s, the Show was” mixed, with complaints about the realignment of the transmitter, the joy of memories of youth. Döring-Steinitz know in the comments: “The listeners, the rbb88,8 had before the reboot, were, in part, over 60. Suddenly, the ruckus of pasta comes from the ‘ 90s that found it was already exhausting, as your children have you heard on the Radio. But if you want to change the handset clientele, then this is the right way.“

With the Slogan “80s, 90s, 100 percent Berlin” wants to be rbb88,8 for the 40 – to 50-Year-old attractive, focus on music and the capital of competence-sharpening. In Berlin, the station has recently consistently 56 000 listeners in the average hour.

A departure from Planet Radio is not available for Döring-Steinitz to the debate. She has settled with her husband and son in the Hessian town of Bad Vilbel. “I am very happy at the Planet, and I do still like youth radio. I think I’m the oldest youth radio presenter of Germany,” she says. Their earlier Kiss FM-colleague Marcus “Caesar” Kaiser moderated today at BB Radio.

In terms of Region and target group, Planet Radio and 88,8 are not in competition. Regional broadcasters-change in the industry is not common, transregional rather, says Döring-Steinitz: “In Hesse, there are habitats and HR only two major channels, available in the relevant competition. Since I can’t go of course to the competitors. In Berlin, this is different, because the radio landscape is much greater.“

at the same time there is a cult voices that can be heard for ever in the capital, as 104,6 veteran Arno Müller and Jochen Trus in the spree radio. The RBB has some of these Radio-established constants, the transmitter adherent to seem.

Fritz, now radio one

To man is Tom Cooper’s in the Morning. He got in the beginning of the 90s in Radio4U, was like many of his German colleagues at youth radio station, Fritz, is now rebuilding for the digital brand. Since 2004, the 51 moderated-Year-old together with Marco the “Beautiful Morning Seiffert” on radio one, is also stadium announcer at Alba Berlin.

“radio one has covered, which I personally find to Radio great,” says Böttcher. “I’m not gone to other radio stations, because the RBB has provided me with the best work that I could do.” Over his 25 years in the case of ORB and RBB he was “very grateful and happy.” The change from Fritz to radio one was an “individual decision”: “I was in mid-30 and had the feeling that I could not sell at the Fritz-topics to be credible.” As one of the founding members, Fritz has been “his Baby”. “But for me, the exchange was a logical process. I had to introduce myself to radio one’s great.“

Once RBB RBB, always? “For me, this is already so,” says Cooper, who now lives with his family in Falkensee. The Team Böttcher/Seiffert is for 15 years at the “Beautiful Morning”, the partner team Stefan Rupp and Christoph Azone for almost two decades. To create reliability in the headphones with fixed moderators in the Morning, says Böttcher. “Of course we will be dropped at some point. But radio one is bigger than the people that make it. If I’m appreciated, and that feeling can carry, then I’m a cog in the big structure.“
