Black Lives Matter invited on Thursday for a so-called ‘flashmob’ from the Space to the city hall square in Copenhagen.
After it came to light that a coronasmittet person had participated in a previous demonstration in Copenhagen organized by the Black Lives Matter 7. June, in which 15,000 people participated, the group decided to hold a smaller event and to share the masks out to the attendees.
A flash mob is about a group of people make a surprising action in the public such as to begin to sing or dance, after which they leave the site again.
Under 100 participants showed up at Israel’s Space in order to practice the Black Lives Matters ‘happening’ went on to form a large ‘X’ to the music of Beyoncé.
the ‘X’a’ refers to Malcolm X, a black american civil rights activist who was assassinated in 1965.
From Israel, the Place we went along the main street towards the town hall square.
– It went great, and I am grateful to all those who turned up, says Bwalya Sørensen, who also provides a commentary to the latter-day controversies.
– People trying to defile my name, but Black Lives Matter more than my name. I have decided that I am not the perfect person, and that I was not academic enough. But people who believe Black Lives Matter, will still follow me.
With the event, the group will also focus on the injustice in Denmark with a call to close the Kærshovedgård, Sjælsmark and Ellebæk. It came, according to Sørensen behind on some participants at the last demonstration.
Some had thought that I would talk about Trump, but they went when I talked about Sjælsmark and Ellebæk. It makes me not anything if they don’t come back – if you’re just going to be a hypocrite. What about your own shit? This is Black Lives Matter, Denmark.

According to Bwalya Sørensen trades, among other things, that she does not have it good.
– I am very sick. I was an it consultant, and there is a reason that I’m not working. I could well go with it, if it was under normal circumstances. But in this situation, where things rest on me, so is my blood pressure very high. If I were to take the mask on, I would feel that I would suffocate, she says.
– You don’t see it as a problem to you as the only one to not have the mask on?
– How should I talk to 100 people, when I have a mask on? It is not realistic. When everyone else has a mask, is it not in order?
– the Danes are not children. They know that it is corona time. They may even decide to come or not.

When the Extra Leaf contact 28-year-old Annelise Nielsen, comes a swarthy man over and asks the reporter to ‘ask the black people’. Although he has not, however, want to comment.
For the Danish-american Annelise Nielsen, it is white to listen, and to help to correct others ‘ attention to the discrimination of blacks.
– It is an american problem, but it is also a global problem – in Denmark, too, she says.
Ahead of her, she has a sign that says: ’the Story has its eyes on you. This is a global problem’.
– I can listen and pay attention to the problem, and talk with those I meet about it.
Angela has been to many demonstrations in both Brooklyn and New York and have many friends in the environment.

the Extra Leaf also tries to have a talk with another male black participant.
This time it’s some white participants, which blends.
– You must not speak with him. He comes from the Extra Leaf, shout, a masked woman and pointing at Ekstra journalist. She calls Extra Magazine for a ‘højreradikalt’ media.
Then ask another participant out of an Extra Magazine journalist and the man.
But when the man does not even have a problem with talking to Ekstra Bladet, succeed in it, the reporter to get a brief comment.
Tony Moreira in the dark blue shirt had the first not even allowed to decide whether he would talk with Ekstra Bladet, as a few white female protesters stood in between – one of these can be seen with a small sign on the far left. Photo: Anthon Unger
– I’m here to protest against the discrimination, racism, and when some breaks others ‘ constitutional rights. I want justice, a better world and a more peaceful world, says Tony Moreira.
Turu is an activist in the Black Lives Matter and have been with all of the demonstrations the last few weeks.
along the Way she has been tested several times.
– I have been tested negative twice, and will be tested again after it here. I will be tested on an ongoing basis, tells Turu.
Reactions to the video of the murder of George Floyd has put the time in movements the world over. To Turu it reminded her of racism at home.
– There is also so much suffering here in Denmark, which must påtales. I didn’t know it would explode like that – and look where we are now, she says with reference to the large attendance at the last demonstration.
– I have teamed up with Bwalya Sørensen for all the demonstrations. Now people can see what we have been telling people about. It has been done personally, and it is not personal – we are aware that there are people who are suffering, and that there is no other, which is saying something.
– We love Denmark and will contribute to the society. But we just want equality. We want to be able to go to work. We have several highly educated people who can’t get a job. So it’s not too much to ask to be treated in the same way as all the others.
