Suddenly everything becomes black. Power failure. Reach: no problem, of course, power outages tend to be short. Sofia and her brothers are alone at home and well, what to do. There is a power outage on the whole street in the northern Aleå, and it is still night, and the winter, so they go to bed.

Therese Henriksson conveys skillfully strömavbrottets effects in a number of areas, and just like in the ”Dimmed country” or in Lars Wilderängs prepperthriller ”starry night” is the human relationships a major problem. The crisis brings up many good sides of people, but there are also those who are willing to go very far to save themselves. Therese Henriksson don’t fall for the temptation to make kids into superheroes, but let them be just weaker and more vulnerable in the face of an intimidating adult.
the worst is actually the cold. It becomes as a separate force, a constant threat that can kill you far faster than you think.
