Mr Yogeshwar, what is the main of your two films?

We have to do it in the Artificial intelligence (AI) with a development which will shape our future in a sustainable way. We have seen the intensity with which the KI in the United States and China. In comparison, Europe is still asleep. We also wanted to check what’s wrong, how good or bad the AI works. We have decided to consider less the commercials, but the reality of it. I believe that we need to control as a society of such developments. We need a debate in terms of ethical issues.

Recently has not been presented in Bavaria, a flight taxi, then flew.
Exactly. Or another example: it is said to be in the near future fully Autonomous vehicles. I don’t know now that this is the case. Although we are now in a position to determine with all the Sensors, the Position of a car very carefully. But the car is a communication process. Drivers and pedestrians on the road side to watch imperceptibly, just a small Detail, we recognize as a car driver: The pedestrian stops and the other goes.

Can’t learn KI?
In a distant future, maybe. The AI is great, where it operates in the idealized space. If you like to play today chess is the winner of each Computer. But if you say the most intelligent robot: now, you Take the game of chess off the shelf and not build it, then he can do it.

What are in addition, the surprising results of their Research?
There are in the medical field incredible developments. Max Little of Aston University in Birmingham has originally realize developed Algorithms, which are able, in the language of a people, whether a Person may be suffering from Parkinson’s disease. Now he has started to use movement data from Smartphones. Everyone has a cell phone in the bag, the Sensors, acceleration and orientation. The goal is to identify Parkinson’s in the very early stage.

Who should be informed of this data and for what purpose?
This is the shadow side. We end up in a dictatorship of transparency? To be able to specify certain people or organizations or countries due to many data in our profile, exactly? We need to develop a greater sensitivity.

Has strengthened their critical attitude to the AI by working on the Film?
There are areas where the AI Great. I am particularly critical when it comes to large systems. I see a Parallel between the Chinese System, on the one hand, and large corporations such as Google, on the other side. In both cases, constructs have been created that are, in my opinion, very questionable. Google is the most active Lobbyist in Brussels. The company is trying to get their interests with great energy and consistency to achieve politically.

What was it that failed during the shooting?
For example, to really look behind the Scenes of Google. We have tried other channels, without a camera. The large American company walls, what I find worrying, because they are so relevant.

What was turning in China is possible and what is not?
The Chinese were more open than we expected. We shot in Shenzhen in the city administration. I have never seen such a big screen on which all the data of a city, from transport to occupancy of the hospitals. On the other hand: In Shenzhen, so many people bring in every year, in an average German city life. The city needs to plan Where we need to build schools? This is happening consistently with the help of digital data. Sometimes you think: It would be good if there was a little bit of it in Germany. Here you go from one office to another, because data are not pooled. But this rational planning is not my world.

The government monitors and educates the citizens with a social credit System.
The notion of quantification has also been used in us. We have the credit Bureau information, we have started to rate everything on the Internet and with an asterisk. We need to be careful that people are not considered only as the sum of your credit points.
