“Sweden’s housing expenditure is among the highest in the EU,”

“Sweden rank high on the list of the EU countries, where the inhabitants spend most of their money on their homes, reports the Home and Rent.”

“Over a quarter (26.1 per cent) of the expenditure goes to the accommodation, which places Sweden in fifth place in the EU, according to new figures from the Abbé Pierre-fund and Feantsa. In the top ports of Finland by 28.8 per cent, followed by Denmark (28,7), the Uk (26,7), France (26,2), and then Sweden.”

“The last ten years, housing prices in the EU increased more compared with what households spend on for example transport, education, health and culture. In 2017 went 24 per cent of the total expenditure to the home, which is an increase of 1.5 percentage points since 2007.”
