The number of signed mortgages increased by 14.6% year-on-year in February, an advance that moderates that registered in January by almost 15 points, although 12 months of consecutive year-on-year increases have been chained.
This is clear from the data released today by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), which show that, despite the slowdown, in February 36,537 loans were made for the purchase of a house, a figure very close to 36.
