If you ever have cried on a plane, then you should not be alarmed.
We cry more when we are up in the air.
According to a study made by the airline Virgin Atlantic joins over half of the passengers in the survey, that they felt more emotional in the 10,000 meters in altitude and have had their eyes continuously on board.
This writes The Telegraph.
44 percent of the male participants report that they crawl under the blanket to hide their tears, while the majority of the weeping women often pretend that they have something in the eye.
According to The Telegraph reports experts that we are more vulnerable when we fly.
– crying is a complex thing, it is triggered by everything from the benign and passionate to the very obvious, says doctor Nick Knight to the media.
And when you are up in a plane, there are plenty of unknown elements, that removes the usual security.
– When one puts themselves in an unknown environment, 10,000 feet above the ground and thus away from its everyday amenities, surrounded by strangers and even stranger sounds, (…) add so your probably changing human physiology with lower air pressure and iltniveau, and your body and your mind is forced to be emotional unstable.
There is no scientific evidence that we have easier to tears aboard the plane, explains the doctor, but it points out that there are lots of personal stories that confirms it.
