Summer of 2022 will be recorded as a hot one by people in the UK. But it seems like they may just have gotten hooked on the sun, which would explain why they are now looking for more. That is, indeed, why many will be heading to Spain, in the months to come, to get back to some warmer climate. Here are a few places they will probably visit.

Choosing a Camping Site for Their Holidays

Once you have been in Spain, it is hard not to go back. First, it is really close to the UK and many people simply drive there, searching for the best place for camping holidays in Spain. In fact, they have gotten used to the many advantages of camping over staying at a hotel. There, they can enjoy a great pool complex for adults and kids, take a sauna or relax by getting a massage. They also appreciate the fact that they can stay in all week long, if they really want to get some rest or use it as a base to go out and visit town in the proximity. And here is where they usually go.

Barcelona

It is certainly the most international city in Europe. When you leave the airport, you almost feel like you have just landed in Los Angeles. And with so many people speaking Spanish in the city of Angels these days, the comparison keeps getting easier to make. If you look up any of the books about the best restaurants in the world, you can be sure that you will find at least one located in Barcelona, in the Top 10, and sometimes even more. That gives you an idea of the quality of the food served in Catalunya. It is by the sea, so tourists searching for a bit of sun and laying on the sand will find what they are looking for, but it is certainly a city meant more for other activities, such as sightseeing and a little bit of shopping at El Corte Inglés.

Valencia

If you want to try the main dish of Spain (Paella), you need to make a stop where it all started, which is in Valencia. This is where you will get to taste the real deal. Paellas can be very different from town to town, in Spain. If you do go West of Valencia, on the Costa del Sol, you should try the twist that they create there, which is called a Fideua. They use small pasta instead of rice. Simply delicious. While in Valencia, though, you need to head out of town and take a boat tour on the largest underground river in Europe, where you will visit the Caves of San José. The one site that everybody walks through during their stay is the City of Arts and Sciences. It contains the largest aquarium in all of Europe, with over 500 different species. Of course, you can also decide to visit the capital city of Madrid, especially if you love architecture. It is also the best shopping spree you can get on, in all the country.
