Late on Friday evening, around 11:00 pm, a driver on the A59 near Waalwijk lost control of her vehicle during a heavy rainstorm, causing the car to veer off the highway. The vehicle collided with the guardrail and came to a stop a short distance away. The police temporarily closed the road to clean up the debris. Fortunately, the driver remained unharmed in the accident.
